死亡之海剧情介绍
In the rough waters of the North Sea, a serious accident occurs on an oil platform just before it is to be sold. Shortly thereafter, a large number of tourists who had been swimming become seriously ill all exhibiting the same mysterious symptoms. Taken to a nearby clinic, the group comes under the care of Eva, who does everything in her power to combat their illness. Meanwhile, the oil companys manager Britta attempts to cover up the accident so that the platforms sale is not jeopardized. After the death of a sick tourist, the government sends two experts: Peter from the Federal Environmental Agency and the crazy yet ingenious marine biologist Finn. While fighting for her patients lives, Eva is extremely concerned about her ex-husband Bernd and her 7-year-old daughter Lisa, who are off on a boat trip. By the time Bernd receives a warning by radio, it is already too late: the raging seas swallow Lisa and Bernd is barely able to make it back to the boat. When it becomes apparent that the lethal disease affecting the tourists has entered the public water system, a massive and deadly outbreak threatens. Feverishly, Finn attempts to discover why the disease is so destructive to the human body. Despite the efforts of the oil companys manager to prevent the truth from coming out, Peter is determined to find the cause of the incident. Britta, who urgently needs her share from the sale of the oil platform to pay for her paralyzed husbands rehab, uses every means at her disposal including murder to keep the platforms deadly secret under wraps. Finally, Finn is able to prove that the rapidly mutating micro-organisms live on crude oil the first connection made to the oil platform. Without wasting time obtaining official permission, Peter, Eva and Finn board a submarine and rush to the site. Without noticing the bomb attached to the submarines hull, they descend into the inky black depths and witness a breathtaking yet deadly spectacle of nature
